By its own account, Henry Rawls donated land in 1869 for a school house. The church says the Rawls School House was built in 1907-08 on the site where Rawls Baptist Church now stands. By its own account, the congregation added Sunday School rooms and two restrooms in 1955. The church says members built a new parsonage on church grounds in July 1960. A church building of this name here was built c. 1960. By its own account, the church voted to install stained glass windows and brick veneer the church building in October 1964.
