Lake Norman Church of Christ

The church says it was founded in 1994 by Howard and Beth Rorrer and Charlie Lowthorpe of Statesville, North Carolina. By its own account, a restaurant building in downtown Huntersville was rented and renovated in 1995 for the congregation to meet in. The church says the congregation began looking for land or a building to purchase in 1998. By its own account, a new building was completed on the existing property in 2002.
