Hermon Baptist Church

By its own account, Hermon Baptist Church was organized in 1889. The church says the first church building was started in 1890 and completed in 1894. The church says Sunday school rooms were added to the building in 1949 and the sanctuary was renovated in 1950. By its own account, the congregation voted to build a church parsonage in January 1969. The church says ground breaking for an addition to the church was on 9 March 1980, and the building was dedicated on 29 May 1983. By its own account, the Family Life Center was dedicated in late 2004.
