Blowing Rock First Baptist Church

The church says the congregation was formed on 11 July 1903 and was then called Blowing Rock Baptist Church. By its own account, 1 ¼ acres was purchased on Main and Broad Streets for the church building on 7 October 1903. The church says a new church building was erected on the Main Street lot in 1923 and dedicated in 1924.
